About me
Anna is the Program Manager for Public Interest at the Fred Foundation. She joined the foundation towards the end of 2018. The Fred Foundation is a private and independent grant-making organization based in the Netherlands, Fred Foundation supports social initiatives dedicated to living life in harmony – harmony with ourselves and each other, and with nature.
Last year, we shifted our focus, and Anna began working on the Public Interest theme after previously focusing on the Food & Lifestyle theme. Within the Public Interest theme, we support initiatives that produce independent quality information, and initiatives that strengthen the infrastructure that is necessary for journalists to do their work. Through these efforts, we help promote an open society.
