About me
Jelena Matić, originally from Serbia, joined Journalismfund Europe in Spring 2024. She currently coordinates the Earth Investigations Programme, a project to support environmental investigative journalism on European affairs in and outside Europe. She studied French Language and Literature at the Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade, Serbia and holds a diploma in Interpretation/Translation. She speaks six languages and worked for the UNHCR. Jelena was a Team member of the OSCE Mission for the Legislative Elections in Serbia 2020. She lived in Belgrade, Warsaw, Istanbul and is actually based in Brussels.
