About me
Lea Weinmann is an investigative reporter with Süddeutsche Zeitung. She specializes in online research, employing methods commonly referred to as Open Source Intelligence (OSINT). Her reporting focuses on war and conflict zones, cybersecurity, abuse of power and #MeToo. Before joining Süddeutsche Zeitung, she gained experience at Südwestrundfunk, Stuttgarter Zeitung, and Correctiv, among others. She has been recognized with the Franco-German Journalism Prize and was named one of Medium Magazine’s “Top 30 under 30” in 2024.
