About me
As part of the European journalist team Investigate Europe, Nico Schmidt works together with colleagues from several EU countries. In recent months, he has researched the unequal availability of essential medicines in the EU, the role of AI in the EU election campaign and how Western commodity traders continue to do business with Russia. At Investigate Europe, he also coordinates cross-border FOI requests and is currently developing the organisation's AI strategy.
