Dataharvest 2025 - the European Investigative Journalism Conference

I work as a data and investigative journalist for IStories, a Russian independent media outlet. I used to investigate social problems and injustice by combining a data-driven approach with field reporting. After the full-scale war in Ukraine began, my colleagues and I were forced to leave the country. Now I work from exile, investigating Russian war crimes, especially in the occupied territories, and researching how social life unfolds inside Russia during times of war.
