Sayyara Mammadova is a journalist specializing in disinformation, fact-checking and OSINT. She is a Research Associate at the Atlantic Council's Digital Forensic Research Lab (DFRLab), where she investigates disinformation trends and malign influence operations. Sayyara oversees the DFRLab's internationally recognized training program, Digital Sherlocks and coordinates capacity building processes and curriculum development. She provides training in OSINT tools, and methods to combat disinformation.
Sayyara is external assessor for the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) at Poynter and the European Fact-Checking Standards Network (EFCSN) to contribute to high standards within the community.
