About me
I'm a budding freelance journalist (and teacher-in-training), currently writing for the investigative platform Apache.be and the international affairs magazine MO*.
My reporting focuses on higher education, EU innovation policy, international politics, (the policy of) social affairs and the societal challenges of AI — or, more broadly, how the Big Developments of today ripple through the everyday life of your average Joe.
When I'm not reporting, you'll likely find me cracking pun-laced dad jokes or wandering through the woods with my hiking club. I'm also into improv theatre, playing guitar, and going for the occasional run.
I lost my journalistic virginity at the acclaimed Flemish student newspaper Veto.be, where I served as the editor-in-chief in its 50th anniversary year. That experience sparked my ongoing interest in making quality journalism accessible—and appealing—to younger audiences.
I'm mainly looking to enhance my investigative skillset here and to connect with people who are smarter than me. While I may be green, if you're looking for a passionate young partner on a project that touches on any of the aforementioned topics, then hit me up!
