About me
I'm a starting freelance journalist who mainly writes for investigative platform Apache.be and the international affairs magazine MO*. In my free time I mainly crack dull wordplay-jokes or walk the forest with my hiking club. I'm also into (impro-)theatre, guitar and running.
My main topics are: higher education, EU (innovation) policy, international politics, the societal challenges of AI — and in short and general: how the Big Developments of today impact the daily life of your average Joe.
I lost my journalistic virginity at the acclaimed Flemish student newspaper Veto.be, of which I was the editor-in-chief in its 50th year. Because of that I also have a keen eye for and interest in finding ways to attract young audiences to well-investigated news.
As a starter, I'm mainly looking to enhance my investigative skillset here at Dataharvest and to connect with people who are smarter than me. But if you're looking for a green, yet passionate young partner on a project that touches on any of the aforementioned topics? Hit me up!
